Al Pack – Tell Me (Bootleg)
Even though I’ve posted quite a bit of music from, Al Pack, I’d somehow managed to miss that he has another Soundcloud page that’s titled ‘D&B Remixes‘. It’s all very self explanatory but the remixes he has tucked away on that page are out of this world! They’re all of some very well known tunes and although many of them are for streaming pleasure only, Al’s latest piece of work, this sunshine filled Liquid D n B bootleg of Grove Theory‘s 90’s Neo-Soul hit ‘Tell Me’, is all yours for free. It’s sounds amazing now, but like me, I’m sure you can imagine how god this will sound when the warmer times arrive. Happy, happy days when you’ve got music by Al Pack filling the airwaves.

Moby – Go (Henry St. Social Re Bib) (House N House)
Liverpool is a city steeped in musical history and the duo of Will Hollyoaks and Rory Palmer, aka Henry Street Social, are on a mission to create a piece of their own. They’ve already had releases on labels such as Simma Black and Disco Kicks and they’ve had support from the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Low Steppa, Hector Moralez, Todd Terry and Kenny Dope, so it’s evident that these guys are definitely on the right track. Of course, all that support is all down to their skills at making music and creating their own brand of bass driven House and Techno and to sample their sound, we’re sending your way their awesome rework of Moby’s classic ‘Go’. The nostalgia lives large but the guys have toughened things considerably and applied modern touches to make this a must have track to spin at your next party!

HMWL Podcast 141 – Wax Worx (Shanghaied Records)
We’ve got good news and good music coming at us from all angles in this post! We kick things off with a new mix from, Wax Worx, for the HMWL Podcast and as far as House mixes go, this is an absolute belter! It’s on it from the get go and the intensity, energy and great music is unrelenting!
The mix has been put together to spread word of a new joint venture from Wax Worx and his good friend, Ron Mexico, which is their new label, Shanghaied Records. They decided to join forces after working alongside each other for Data Transmission and as their love for House music knows no bounds, getting together for their new project was a no-brainer.
Early indications show that it’s a choice well made because their debut EP is an absolute cracker! 3 free tracks are up for grabs and Wax Worx himself leads the way in great style with his track ‘Bump, Shake’, a nasty, dirty slab of House. The next two tracks on the EP showcase what Shanghaied is gonna be about, as they bring us two young and relatively unknown producers, LA Sam and Zach Murray. It’s clear the scouting techniques at Shanghaied are being applied with great affect, because landing music from these guys is a masterstroke. LA Sam takes us down, deep down with his haunting and spaced out tune ‘Instead’, while Zach Murray throws down some serious Acid action on his track that’s aptly titled ‘Acid’. If you’re a House music fan, Shanghaied will be a label you’ll need to stay in touch with so hit em up on the links below, because great things are gonna happen!
If all that wasn’t already enough, Ron Mexico has a new free tune out too. His track ‘It’s All About Love’ feat. Ben Sterling, is one that’s gonna get some serious airplay, especially throughout the summer as it has that cool, crisp terrace party vibe. If you need some warmth in your lives, this’ll do the trick just nicely.
