We’ve all been there, someone comes along and ask’s “so what music are you into?”. Madame Electrifie found herself in this exact position a while ago and like us here on the ward, her taste is very vast and varied, so to try and explain it all would take an absolute age. Madame Electrifie’s answer to that very question though is ‘The 5 Trick Pony’, which features a selection of mixes that showcases all of the different styles of music she loves. From from Hip-Hop to Vintage remixes to Breaks to Disco to House and D’n’B, it’s all been covered. A lot of hard work has gone into these mixes and from the quality of the music on offer and the way the mixes are laid out, it really shows and has massively paid off! To go along with each mix, Madame Electrifie has a super cool picture, giving a visual idea of what’s about to go down also. After all, that is her day job, so why miss the chance to have a little fun.

Hip Hop Hooray

The first of these 5 mixes focuses on Madame Electrifies love for the funky side of Hip-Hop and Ghetto Funk. Disco Fever 

Trick number 2 ‘Disco Fever’ a look into the window of her love for Disco and House. Clearly, the tempo for this is set much higher but follows on from the first mix perfectly. Plenty of funkiness present with of course, a whole load of groove!

The vintage sound of Electro Swing is arguably what Madame Electrifie is most recognized for which leads us neatly on to her ‘Vintage remix’ mix.
