Born and raised in South-East London, the son of an artist and a graphic designer/drummer. Music and creativity is nothing new to PRofit. Obsessed with word play and rocking a crowd, he is known for his versatility and conscious lyrics. Maintaining a strong sense of reputation, professionalism and good vibrations, he carries this ethos with him with regular appearances across the globe and at major festivals like Glastonbury.
With the seal of approval from the likes of the Scratch Perverts, Skitz, Congo Natty aka The Rebel MC, & The DubPistols. Industry recognition as finalist for “Best Hip Hop” & “Best Male” at The People’s Music Awards, nomination for “Best MC/Vocalist” at the International Breakbeat Awards and winning the GMI award for “Best Soundtrack” for the film “11 Minutes on Leicester Square”.
Carrying a number of releases to his name, ranging from a host of singles, two EPs and collaborations spreading from the UK to Europe and as far a Russia. Record sales have been seen from all ponds across the world. With added cross platform delivery and having the flip of his first single (Push Back) from his album (True Colours) on the OST for EA Games’ SSX, on both the Playstation & Xbox.
Now with the debut album ready for release featuring appearances from the likes of Craig Blundell, Skitz, Mr. Ti2bs, Serocee, Mystro and Juxci Dee. Support from within inside the artist fraternity has been strong. The first single Push Back ft David Boomah and Shortston (remixes by Nick Thayer) received support from the likes of Diplo and Porter Robinson. The latest single from his self titled ablum True Colours will see the rise of Profit once again and cement his position as one of the UK’s finest new urban artists.
