It always amazes me how HKPP come up with a 2 hour show with a bunch of new tunes every time. Long time DJ and artist Morphosis bring his cheeky Hong Kong Ping Pong style with another Beating The Crates Session in association with Ghetto Funk and aired through the award winning Breakbeat internet radio station NSB Radio.

It’s always a great day when we get to send your way music from, WBBL, and it’s made even better when there’s 2 helpings from him! The first of these is his jaw dropping Drum n Bass remix of Childish Gambino‘s ‘Redbone’. It opens on a stunning Liquid D n B tip, which then flips to a feisty Jump Up banger. A gorgeous breakdown follows that then leads to more lush Liquid vibes and a big Jump Up hit to finish the track off in style. WBBL has used his remix to end many of his sets this summer and I’ve no doubts that anyone who has experienced on the festival front line, would have been absolutely buzzing to hear such a quality tune end what would have been an amazing set. It’s now free for all so spread a little magic at the next shindig you have.

Talking of amazing sets, here’s WBBL’s second helping of music, his 2017 Shambhala set from the infamous ‘Fractal Forrest‘ stage. If you’re thinking this mix is gonna be good, think again, because this 90 minute masterpiece is off the scale! His genre-defying dexterity on the wheels of steel is in full effect and the wobble, oh it’s there, big time! This is one of those mixes you’ll still be turning to in years to come, mark my words.

WBBL has been tirelessly perfecting a whole bunch of new and original tunes in his studio for a while now and the first of those new tracks have surfaced on his 3 track EP ‘Get Back‘. The hard work has clearly paid off and the bass wobble we come to expect from him is evident throughout the EP.

The title track of the EP is where we begin and things kick off in spectacular style with an extremely cool and bassy slice of Glitch Hop. Up next is ‘Toe Tapper‘ which will have you doing more than that, that’s for sure! Fuller, fatter drums that have a real kick with Glitchy tweaks and of course, plenty of bass. ‘Carry On‘ is the last tune and what a dose of happiness this House/Disco groover will inject into your lives! You can always rely on WBBL to deliver the goods and we’re very much looking forward to listening to the rest of the music he’s been working on in the future.
