Fellow blogger Sid Wesley who writes articles for the Life Support Machine website definitely brings the Funk with a new mix of his “Bring On The Brass Volume 2”. Over an hours worth of a Funky music variety sending out a celebration of brass in the tracks he has chosen to which in his mind adds an extra spark to the music he adores. As I type, there’s an election going down here in the UK, so here’s a little something to break up the monotony of all that politics talk that has gotten to be a little bit out of control. It’s volume 2 of last years ‘Bring On The Brass‘, which was a mix by myself and was part of a free CD giveaway here on LSM. I’ve taken the reigns of volume 2 again and I’m once again sending out a celebration of brass in the tracks I’ve chosen which, in my mind, always adds that extra spark to music.

Last years mix was a Ghetto Funk fest, but this time around it’s a Funk/Disco approach with my mind on the time of year it is too, so the summery vibes are there in full effect. There will be a CD giveaway of this mix again towards the end of July but for now, I hope you enjoy listening to this mix as much as I did putting it together.
