What better way to blast open the doors to the weekend than with a brand new mix from Krafty Kuts! The Data Transmission crew sent out an invite to Krafty to feature in their ‘Mix Of The Day‘ mix series and he duly obliged and compiled one of his classic party starting mixes we become so accustomed too. For his new mix he has pulled together a selection previously unheard and exclusive material that sees him chop and change between Breaks, Bass House, D n B and Jungle with absolute ease and precision. This is Mr Kuts at his very best!

Krafty Kuts has also recently released a brand new album with his great friend, Dynamite MC. Unfortunately we’re unable to post it here as it’s not posted on a site with an embed link, but we can assure you that the 15 tracks of Hip Hop, Funk, Breaks, Grime and Future Funk on ‘All4Corners‘ are at a mind-blowing level and it’s a superb follow on from his previous albums ‘Freak Show‘ and ‘Lets Ride‘. DJ Bacon has long been a legend in the Brisbane breaks and hip-hop scene, showcasing a superb flair on the ones and twos, with his cutting, scratching and juggling being on par with the best in the business and his skills have not gone unnoticed with him supporting the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Ugly Duckling, The Roots, Hilltop Hoods and DJ Dexter to name but a few. The truth is that his performance in the DMC turntablist competition back in 2001 was a major influence in the purchase of my very first set of turntables and I include as one of my career highlights that I have been fortunate enough to share the booth (and a few beers) with this master of the wheels of steel.
