It’s volume 2 in their annual ‘BBQ Bonanza Mix‘ series and much like the first one, it’s packed with a selection of ultra funky Disco and House tracks that have been cooked up just right, so that when served, they’re at their succulent best. I reached for volume 1 plenty of times throughout last summer and I’ll be doing exactly the same now this one’s arrived!

If you sees these guys on the bill at a festival this summer, seeing them is a must. I caught them at a festival last year and my dancing shoes we’re smokin’ after their set. Great times are guaranteed!

Born: 18 June 1964 on the Isle of Wight and raised in a village near Colchester in Essex, UK. Joey Negro is the main alias Dave Lee works under, amongst many others.

Dave integrated his passion for disco music into house music as both a producer and remixer, causing many to call his music disco-house. He released music under a plethora of monikers for a multitude of record labels throughout the 1990s and beyond.
