We are immensely pleased to premiere Ali Ahmadi ‘I Will Take U’, a spine shivering, rush-inducing, bleepy warehouse techno jam coming to all good digi-stores via AA Recordings as part of the two-track ‘Are You Here?’ EP

This really ought to be the release that catapults Ali and his label, AA Recordings right to the top. It has all the credentials to stand tall next to the big hitters like Adam Beyer, Pig&Dan et al. There is a haunting early 90’s feel to ‘I Will Take U’ that reminds this writer of Joey Beltram’s early pioneering tunes like ‘Energy Flash’ and ‘Mentasm’. In short, this is a tune one week into 2017 that absolutely deserves your ears!!

Clips of the EP will be up on AA Recordings soon, be sure to check out the Soundcloud and Facebook pages and give ‘em a follow!!

Dave Gerrard‘s earliest attempts at mixing was way back in 1980 with a setup of three tape decks. He got his first proper decks in 1990, started Djing and has never looked back. The natural progression took place and Dave soon found himself sitting down to produce his own music. He’s a huge lover of Disco and as well as making his own shiny gems, he, like many others in his field, just loves to add his own twist to some of his personnel favourites from times gone by, so that they slip right in to the feel of today’s dance floors.

For his latest release he’s put his spin on Empire‘s ‘Freakman’, a tune that had the movers and groovers doing their thing in 1981 and now, in the present day, it’s our turn to put our Disco shapes to good use from the extra funk and fatness that’s now been added to the original. If you’re feeling this, which I’m sure you are, hit the Soundcloud link below and find a stack of quality music,

A true House music legend, Terry Farley hits Bonanza Records with ‘Die 4 U’

One-half of Heller & Farley and also responsible for a string of House music classics, Terry Farley lays down a delectable, bouncing House track called ‘Die 4 U’ which instantly brings to mind Terry’s stellar work for Defected.

Handzoff provides an energetic Minimal rework of  ‘Die 4 U’ with a sweet melodic drop. Alkalino drops the tempo, adds in slamming 4×4 kicks and fizzing acid like sounds.  Severino & Nico De Ceglia’s remix is pure 90’s with Tribal pads and 90’s Garage deep bass set to heavy drums. Real House music, pure and simple.

True2life & Jazzloungerz close another stellar year for House label, Unique2Rhythm with ‘One House Plus’

Featuring vocals from An-Tonic & Mandel Turner, ‘One House Plus’ is a smooth, exhilarating cruise taking in sweet organ stabs and warm deep Chicago style keys.

The T2l Hit It mix raises the euphoria levels to fever pitch bringing out the fullness of the original versions’ musical arrangements, one for the clubs, one for your car soundsystem (make sure it’s a good soundsytem so you can really appreciate the beats!!!)

Jazzlounger’s remix is perfectly suited for more Deep/Tech House tastes. Things get looped for a hypnotic Tech/Disco feel with a nice bubblin’ bassline.

It’s been a huge year for Unique2rhythm. True2life & Jazzloungerz give us a glimpse into the even bigger 2017 that awaits for this quality imprint.
