Hi Everyone. As some people may already know, the legendary Skint Records label in Brighton, which pioneered the Big Beat movement has very recently been bought by BMG Records, marking the end of an era for the label, and for dance music in general. Skint was home to some amazing artists including Midfield General, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Kidda, Lo-Fidellity Allstars, Cut La Roc, Xpress2, Sonny Wharton and of course Fatboy Slim, who's still to this day one of the biggest DJ's ever - Even myself, Rory Hoy had a couple of tunes released on the Under 5's Imprint.

In tribute - here is a 5 minute minimix of some of the label's greatest hits!

Having recently been played on Radio 1 (who even pronounced their name correctly!) and their latest single ‘Tijuana’ hitting no.7 on the Beatport charts,‘ check out their rework of Zedd - Stay The Night. Australia's Kenny Beeper and Dastardly Kuts had the last minute call up to play a back to back set in support of Dead Pixel at Byron Bays Beach Hotel and this was the result, clocking in at just over 45 minutes it was a power set that had the packed venue jumping from start to finish.

An extra big shout out to MC Dyzlexic who hyped the crowd like no other but whos stellar work unfortunately did not make it into the recording and also to DJ More Vibes who warmed up the crowd perfectly.

As a member and resident of Space Cowboys, DJ Zach Moore spins events from San Francisco to the Black Rock Desert to New York City and beyond. Zach has played epic, sold-out events like Outside Lands, Burning Man, Treasure Island Music Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, PEX Summer Fest, GhostShip and the legendary Breakfast of Champions.
