Having just signed exclusively with Viper Recordings, Austrian duo Dossa & Locuzzed drop their debut single on Viper’s sister label, Viper VIP. Although no strangers to the label, the duo has appeared on Viper's 'Drum & Bass Summer Slammers 2015' album with ‘Hollow’, and then again on 'The Sound of Drum & Bass 2016' with ‘Bad’.

A legend in the scene, Tasha Baxter has been the voice of many anthems over the past decade with collaborations with some of the biggest Drum & Bass and Bass Music producers in the game such as: Spor, Feed Me, Noisia, Brookes Brothers, Smooth, and The Upbeats – along with being a 2X SAMA (South African Music Award) Winner. Epic from the start, and spine tingling till the end, there are bags of funk and soul in this peak time, sky-reaching future classic. Quality production and club-friendly rhythms throughout.

Next up we have ‘Electric Boogie’, a slightly more gritty addition to the single; but don’t be fooled, this still has enough funk and hooks to get any party started. There is a familiarity in the beat that stomps its way through funky stabs and bouncing basslines. There won’t be a sole standing still in the dance with this one blasting out.

From the outside looking in, San Francisco seems to be a place full of artistic genius and musical excellence and here to back up the musical part of that observation is San Fran resident, Vitamindevo. As well as hosting a few events in and around the city, he can also be found producing his own tracks and jaw dropping remixes like this one of one of his favourite tracks of all time ‘Clint Eastwood’ by, Gorillaz. The leisurely flow of the original has been replaced with super solid and upfront House remix that comes complete with enough bass to make your soul vibrate. After blowing our minds with their first release, Misrishi Records are back at it again with this free 8 track LP from French producer and member of the Misrishi collective, Laster. It’s that time of year where the summery edits start to rise to the surface and fully blossom and it just so happens that we’ve picked up another one of those blooming beauties from the Romanian duo, Anti.Dot and J The Funky Bear. Both these guys are lovers of smooth grooves, whether it be jazzy, funky or with a Disco influence. In this edit of theirs of the classic, Womack & Womack track ‘Teardrops’, they’ve gone down the Deep Disco route and although the guys have kept things relatively simple on the rework, it’s incredibly effective and has the original sounding up to date and ready to be enjoyed in the here and now, so go do just that…
