Nice little rare LIVE set from a while back of the legendary Freestylers. Aston Harvey this time mixing it up for Rough Tempo Radio back in December of 2009 and just over 2 hours worth of some nice Booty Breaks that were around at that time. While Rough Tempo now deal with more of the Drum and Bass sound they were the go to place for many a famous Breaks act a few years back. Enjoy !

I personally converted the audio from this mix from one of the various video DJ sets that was available from the Rough Tempo website at that time.

Ctrl Z pronounced Control Z were a UK duo consisting of Tommy Dash and Nicky ‘Inch’ D’Silva as it’s members. Well known in the early days of Nu Skool Breaks of producing high tempo hardcore tear out breakbeat they had over 50 releases on well respected labels of the time. Labels such as Against the Grain, Lot49, Botchit & Scarper, Passenger, Functional, Rat Records and Hardcore Beats.

This mix from Australia’s Triple J Radio from 2010 was personally ripped/downloaded by me and is a great memory of what Ctrl Z was up too music wise at that time.

For his visit to Post Breaks as a guest DJ JB Thomas lays down a fine mixture of Bass & Breaks tunes that are doing the rounds in the clubs at the moment. Starting off with Bomba Rosa’s new tune and then working his way through an assortment of upfront Bass & Breaks. This is a great mix !

Held on the 23rd of February this year on the shores of Tapapakanga Park in New Zealand the Splore Festival consists of like minded people enjoying the best electronic music has to offer. Local DJ and producer Funk Ferret dropped this set at the festival, a selection of well known Funky Breaks.

DJ Chronic and Danks make up the duo that is Blazin Broz. Purveyors is every beat that is broken the Blazin Broz have dedicated their newest mix for a lost brother, Jim Landis. RIP Jim.
