Back in 2012, Roots Recordings got to release a track that has gone on to be one of the biggest and most played Jungle tunes of recent times. It all come about when four top UK producers of the scene all put their minds together in spectacular fashion. With Bob Marley’s classic ‘Sun Is Shining’ as the main foundation to the track, Andy Sim and Bevan set about using their slick editing skills on the vocal and skanks of the original, piecing them together with up to date Jungle Breaks. Aries and Gold Dubs then threw their hats into the ring by providing the sickest basslines and with all of the components put together, a classic was born. It’s popularity has been so huge that all parties felt it was time to let everyone have a chance to own it and have now decided to give it away for free. You can’t get much better news than that!

The Brazilian based label, 55TRAXX, is always on the hunt for fresh rising talent and their searches always bring great results. One of their hunts saw them discover the talents of Brazilian based, Loudstage, a producer lays down massive amounts of groove to his deep but pumpin’ Techno sound. Since signing exclusively with Viper Recordings in April, Austria’s Dossa & Locuzzed have been enjoying some serious recognition as one of the industry’s hottest new drum and bass duos. With their debut single ‘Only Way / Electric Boogie’ released back in May on Viper’s sister label Viper VIP to tumultuous praise, the talented producers have been hitting the scene hard in 2016. Teddy Killerz are the next to step up to remix Formula EJ’s Take Control Of Me. So far we’ve heard remixes from Vion Konger and Alex Preston. Now it’s the Russian trio’s turn to give the track a 174bpm makeover.

EJ met these international artists over his prolific travels, and is excited to working with them alongside Formula E.
