After tons of anticipation, Koven has finally released their EP Come To Light on Monstercat featuring “Breathing Me In”.

Complimented by a cutting edge music video, “Breathing Me In” features drum & bass influences while bringing a radio ready feel to the intense emotion this UK duo exudes in all of their work, putting listeners once again in awe of their musical dexterity.

We can’t wait what Koven as well as Monstercat has out next as we were floored by this work!

Bachelor’s Of Science have a new incoming remixes EP you absolutely need the low down on. Vol 3 of ‘The Space Between’ features 4 magnificent forays into DnB & Jungle. We begin with Bladerunner’s dubwise skank melting into ruffneck jungle interpretation of ‘Backfoot Dub’. Jaybee & Dave Owen give ‘Cartier’ a warm blanket of deep bass and light organic strings.

Flaco goes in on ‘Don’t Hold Back’ with an ethereal pallet of sounds that fit snugly with Dylan Germick’s vocals. The Insiders rework ‘Control’ into a gnarly composite of atmospheric synths. Make this that essential DnB purchase from 14/11/16

Forget all the top football teams in the world and their millionaire players because we’ve found a proper club for you to support, with something worth far more than overpaid ego’s, music, and incredible music at that. 45/7 VINYL CLUB is the club in question and with it’s bag of riches, it’s the one to give all your devotion too. This monthly mixtape series has been created to give Dj’s a platform to present their personnel gems on 7inch vinyl only, both from familiar names and some obscure ones. The diversity of styles and genres covers more ground than any other mix series we’ve come across and the eclectic range is what makes it so special. In their own words :

“The 45/7 VINYL CLUB stands for pretty much any genre, which was released on 7inch. Soul, Jazz, Electronic, Alternative, Hip Hop, Psychedelic, Disco, House, Reggae, Pop… It’s not about skills, but about the feeling for music”.

The most recent mix to be delivered by 45/7 comes from, Adam Scrimshire, a producer, DJ and owner of labels that releases their own 45’s. His one hour mix is heavily Funk based with some wobbly Disco cuts and also a few of his own edits. It’s the perfect introduction to a mix series that offers so much for the most hardcore of music fans.

This mix was recorded LIVE by BBC Radio and aired back in 2008 along with a bunch of other mixes on the famous Annie Nightingale Radio Show. I personally ripped, downloaded, bypassed the BBC Radio Player at that time for this mix. Breakspoll was a very special event back then and was the highlight of the Breaks scene throughout the world.

Next up are world renowned Far Too Loud LIVE at Fabric Nightclub 2008.

As a memeber of the Australian collective Decades and an avid music hunter, The dL’s time is often filled up with great times. When he takes a break from both of those, he loves nothing more than putting together edits using some of the classic Funk, Soul and Disco tracks he’s discoverd on his searches. The dL is in the process of uploading quite a few of his old edits, the first being this one of Hidden Strength‘s ‘Hustle On Up (Do The Bump)’. It’s a very classy piece of work and with more to come like this, great times are ahead for us all!
