It’s Friday and the sun is shining, perfect time to drop the mixtape dig for this week.

Howdy all, being New Zealand music month I thought It would be rude not to feature a Kiwi DJ for the dig.

Joe Revell is no stranger to the dig, I featured one of his mixes a while back on Mixtape Dig #33 which you should check out, and he is a wicked producer as well so you should have a rummage through his soundcloud as there are loads of great tunes to be had.

I didn’t find time to interview Joe this week as we are getting the site ready for a certain FESTIVAL that is happening next weekend but I imagine If I had it would have gone something like this:

Tom Booze is kinda like the uninvited guest at a house party who you can’t kick out because he’s become the life and soul of the thing. These two slabs of overwrought funk may well get you grounded for a month. First up, the stone cold jam Never Knew will leave footprints all over the carpet (and the walls) in your parent’s bedroom whilst title track gET oFF yO aSS cleans out the fridge and jimmies the lock off the liquor cabinet.
