Winx – Don’t Laugh (If you’re Dilli & ya know it clap ya hands)

Dilli just dropped another tasty bootleg of a classic House jam on his Soundcloud, check it out below… A little while back, we posted about Dilli’s awesome ‘Papua New Guinea’ booty. Now he’s back with another bangin’ booty, a cheeky refix of Winx ‘Dont Laugh’ that switches the dark bleeps of the original for big lazer blasts of Techno stabbage and a pounding beat. So where can someone aquire this certified slammer? The good news is you can grab it as a free download from the 27th October via the Sleazy Deep imprint.

DJ Steve Thorpe – LIVE @ Moovin Festival 2017
For the third year running I headed to Stockport (UK) on our August bank holiday to the awesome, Moovin Festival. This cracking little festival is one that I highly recommend and to find out more about it, you can read a review I did of it in 2015 when you *Click Here*.
Before you do that though, get this mix from Steve Thorpe downloaded so as your reading is accompanied by a damn fine soundtrack. Steve closed the Boombox stage on Sunday night and as I’ve seen him DJ several times now, I knew something special was gonna go down and so did a lot of other people judging by how many turned up to see him play. With the tent over flowing with people who wanted to end the weekend on a real high, Steve stepped up and delivered a blinding set that was heavy with Breaks and a touch of Acid House and Techno to boot. All of us left wanting more but as is the way with life, all good things must come to an end, so we all wandered off back to our tents with big smiles on our faces safe in the knowledge we’d ended an amazing weekend the right way by dancing our socks off!

Digeridoo (Elite Force Revamp)
It’s not very often these days that we get to bring you a Breakbeat masterpiece from, Elite Force. Simon Shackleton sent his Elite Force alias on a long term hiatus quite some time ago, but he has recently uploaded his revamp of Aphex Twin’s seminal ‘Digeridoo’ which he’s also giving it away for free, which we’re incredibly grateful for and I’m sure many of you will be to. It was first released back in 2011, but with the added drums and a heavy Acid Breaks sound, it’ll still tear the dance floor a new one right here, right now!
If you’re a fan of Elite Force, we have some very exciting news for you as he is playing a one off gig in Manchester on November 25th. He’ll be playing for Manchester’s longest running Breaks night, Lowdown, who are sadly saying goodbye to the venue they called home for so many years, Sound Control. I’ve got my ticket and I cannot wait! If you’re interested and want to know more, head over to the event page on Facebook here >>> Lowdown w/Elite Force
In other news, Simon is selling a massive stack of his own Elite Force vinyl. The vinyl sale is roughly 10 days old on the date this is written, so inevitably some of it will already be sold, but if you want to see if you can grab yourself a piece, head over to his Facebook page here to find all the info and the link for the list of music on offer.

Butch le Butch – Theme From Shanty Town
Australia has served up a high number of top draw producers from various underground scenes and another one we’ve recently had the pleasure of discovering is, Butch le Butch. He was bitten by the Disco bug at a young age and has been infected by the groove ever since. After honing his skills behind the decks in clubs in Melbourne, it was time for him to experiment with making music of his own and it’s a decision we’re very thankful he made as the music we’ve listened to of his, is absolute first class! Butch produces Disco gems of his own and he also remixes very familiar tunes from the scene, as well as rare and forgotten about ones to.
As a welcome to the LSM ward, we’re sharing with you Butch’s joyous tune ‘Theme From Shanty Town’ which will only ever bring light to the darkest of days. Sweet Disco vibes, the smoothest of grooves and plenty of horns makes this a winner with us and we’re sure you’re gonna love it to. Happy times incoming!
Download ‘Theme From Shanty Town’ here via Hypeddit.
