qebrµs’ new EP on Love Love Records has already received support from none other than the Aphex Twin

The tracks on this eclectic EP have no name, just symbols. Perhaps symbolic of the non-linear, fascinating sounds that owe much to the work of Aphex Twin & Squarepusher. It’s very hard to describe what’s on offer here musically but we love it!!! A bit of Lo-Fi, industrial, shades of experimental techno and psychedelia. The glitchy broken beats on this EP by qebrµs are a delight!!!

With news that they have a new album on the way, Phibes, have dropped the first single off it which comes in the form of this remix of their own tune ‘I Gotta Woman’. If you’ve heard the original then sit tight, because it’s now sounding fatter and heavier than ever before and gives the perfect indication of the mayhem that’s gonna go down when Phibes ‘Glitch Swing Collection’ is released. This remix is only available for a short time so if you dig, get it on the download and keep your eyes peeled for their new album.

The Merseyside based duo, Truth Be Told, at first glance, may have visited somewhere they shouldn’t have gone. Good news though folks, their edit of Atlantic Ocean‘s 1993 club classic ‘Waterfall’ is straight out of the top draw! Although the tempo of the original has been dropped, they’ve harnessed the essence of the original perfectly and with their tough House touch, they’ve created a track that clubbers and festival goers, new an old, can raise their hands to as they unite on the dance floor as one.

2016 was a crazy year for many but one constant that kept us all on track was the amount of amazing music that was released. One of the highlights from the music released last year was the amount of incredible albums that surfaced and it seems that 2017 is kicking off just as strong as we share with you what will undoubtedly be one of the albums of the year from, Beatnik City and their album ‘Northern Beats Vol.2′.

‘Northern Beats Vol.2′ is the ray of sunshine you need to turn to in your darkest days as it’ll pick you up and send you on your way to better things. It’s comprised of 10 tracks that are so soulful and uplifting that they’re gonna blow your mind when it comes to how good you can feel whilst listening to music. The tracks have been expertly put together by a number of funk fuelled producers who we’ve featured on the ward before and when you see who they are you’ll soon know how hot the sounds are going to be. All that’s left to say really is listen, like and love and love you will.
