Lee Pearce rounds off an accomplished 2017 with his new EP on Fxtion ‘Pull It’

‘Pull It’ and ‘Pump’ are both full of the masterfully crafted signature sound of this artist. You can hear the attention in detail right down to the drums, always a prominent and enjoyable feature of Lee’s tracks.  Overall there’s a definite Tech House leaning to the sounds here. Think premiere labels like Simma Black for an idea of the slick production and captivating synths and beats.

Jimmy Switch gives ‘Pull It’ a tough gritty workout akin to the style of Suara & Lapsus Music. Ben Read is also on board following his own excellent release for Fxtion. His take on ‘Pull It’ is a well rounded aquatic sounding melodic techno sound that completely grabs the attention. Support great music, buy this EP!!!

Carusoff dazzles us with the sublime House/Garage beats of ‘The Way I Feel’ out on Hustler Trax

The original is a light bouncing oldskool groove with little hints of subtle distortion, a nod to the growing Lo-Fi sound. This is pure Paradise Garage material from start to finish with familiar vocal refrains like ‘Don’t Break It’ lending even more to the 90’s influence.

A string of remixes are on offer to please every House music nuance. We can thank Josh Gregg/Albizzy, Raw Underground, & Dub Striker for adding a sizable touch of class to a whole lotta classiness!!!

If you caught our 2 previous Bernhardt posts, you would have read that his identity was being kept under wraps. That is the case no longer though as we can announce now that it is the new alias of the bearded Techno warrior, Hostage. His new alias of course, comes with a new sound and is one that is geared more towards creating more heat for the dance floor for the partygoers to really feed off. Bernhardt is set to hit it hard in 2017 so keep your eyes open, as this modified Techno warrior may be heading to your neck of the woods for a serious party!

Being a fairly recent convert to Techno and because I’ve been liking what I’ve been hearing from the Bernhardt side of things, I had to send out an invite for our advent calendar and as you can see, the answer was a resounding, yes! ‘Oil’ is the track that’s been kindly sent our way and it’s got the LSM HQ literally rocking! It’s hard as nails yet totally hypnotic at the same time and will most definitely create a moment of euphoric pleasure when encountered on a dance floor. If your bells start jingling, there’s a very good chance someone nearby has got this one maxed out!

As you’ll see below, there’s new Bernhardt mix out too which can only be seen as an added bonus! Sample more of his ground shattering tracks in that mix and then hit the links to find even more.

For advent day #19, we have one of LSM’s favourite Breakbeat producers, Grove, delivering us music and what a piece of music it is! ‘Jazzy Journey’ is a track that takes on a real liquid vibe due to it’s total smoothness and because of the class trumpet work from his good friend, Tom Levecchia. This duo is a match made in heaven and the cosmic slice of Breakbeat that has been created is set out to warm the hearts and minds of whoever encounters it. Give it a go and let the music take control.

Just when we thought that the Shambhala Festival, and in particular the, Fractal Forrest stage, had given up all they had on the mix front, there’s another couple of real heavyweight mixes popped up from there. As you’ve noticed from the title, these mixes are so weighty because they come from Neon Steve and A.Skillz! It goes without saying that both of these live sets are off the scale and pack a real party time punch. They’ll be no needles left on the tree when you max both of these out!
