Release The Groove, is a new label that has been created by two hugely respected UK producers, Myles and DJ Cameo. They’ve opened their account with the new label by dropping their debut EP ‘Cassette Grooves 001′. On the EP you’ll find 5 free and ridiculously heavy remixes of 5 club classics, which includes cuts from Tim Deluxe, Deee-Lite, The Prodigy, Baby D and Kim English. The guys have also drafted in 4 other very talented producers to collab with on these monsters and they are, Smith Davis, Jess Bays, Gavin Francis and Che Leonie. There’s plenty of floor filling tunes around these days and these 5 will guarantee dancing room only, wherever and whenever, they get their chance to shine. It’s time to ‘release the groove’!

Download the whole ‘Cassette Grooves 001′ EP here via Hypeddit.

Drum Wrks 008 blows the warehouse doors open with a mighty shot of dark jungle breaks dished out by Figures Of Eighty and My Selecta. Dark rolling breaks from the very heart of the jungle meet orchestral sweeps and intense melodic darkness on Figures Of Eighty ‘The Delicate’. Ominous chords snarl from the subwoofers ready to rip up your eardrums bolstered by gruesomely mutated 303s and thumping amen breaks on My Selecta ‘Acid Blip’. Make sure you have the stomach because your ears deserve this!!!

Mat.Joe and Mother Recordings want to ‘Blow Your Mind’ with two slick slices of funky house.  The hot sizzlin’ title track cooks up soulful disco flavas into a spicy finger lickin’ deep house package. ‘Dance Machine’ introduces Latin seasoning fried in intense heat for a mighty kick and some serious naughtiness on the dancefloor!!!

Haus Side busts some ‘Fiyah Dance’ Tech House slammers on Five Finger Discount. The title track welds African chants to mega chunks of slappin’ bass n synths. ‘Emergency Exit’ takes a little trip back to 89′ with Jungle brothers vocals and bubblin’ acid. ‘F**k Yeah’ takes the rallying cry of ‘murica patriots and gets stomping with a heavy drum rollout. ‘Never Again’ picks the 303 action and rolls even further with it riding into an open plain of  Techno stabbage and pounding kicks. Serious Dance Fiyah!!!

Pre-Order From Beatport, Juno, iTunes Out 03/03/17

We Take Polaroids are already turning heads with ‘Simplify’ even whilst on Pre-Order. The subtle emotive production on ‘Simply’ (Out on Jula Music 03/03/17) sounds like New Order or Human League in Deep House mode. Delicate vocals wind around a gentle haze of synths and instrumentation. Ash Carr speeds things right up keeping the warm spirit of the original while transposing it into a thumping peak time tech House stomper. Simply brilliant!!!

We just can’t keep Tonbe‘s alter ego, Loshmi, out of the ward lately and to be honest, why would we want to when he keeps dropping highly explosive Disco grenades like this latest one posted. His edit of The S.O.S Band‘s ‘Just Be Good To Me’ has seen him bring a Disco House feel to a tune that’s so familiar to so many and can now be shared and played and parties everywhere.

This is just one of many new tunes to be be released on, Fruity Flavour, the label which hosts all of Loshmi’s music and plenty of Tonbe’s own work to. There’s new music dropping on their regularly over recent times and it the kind you really don’t want to miss out on. Hit the Soundcloud link below and prepare for a huge wave of good times to wash over you.

I.N makes a tasteful appearance on DRUM Records with ‘Woman’ plus a top class remix by Tropical Ground.

‘Woman’ will please all with a penchant for deep, tough tribal House tracks with a Techno proclivity. Pounding drums, percussion and emphatic piano leads drive ‘Woman’ in the direction of your nearest dancefloor.

Tropical Ground, an artist that has featured on top House imprint Whartone directs ‘Woman’ into Funky Tech House traffic with level red weather warnings or might we say tropical heat? Either way this is another bow to the impressive arrow that is the DRUM Records back cat, take note!!
