Riuozami returns to Napoli, Italy imprint Urban Distortion with two tracks of mind-bending Ambient Techno.

The Geometric Shapes EP, supported by luminaries the likes of Colin Dale features two tracks, ‘Geometric Modernism’ and ‘Shape 1′

‘Geometric Modernism’ floats in a dark disembodied way with clever layers of sound. Slaker’s Vision Mix takes things into dance floor territory adding a 4×4 kick bringing out the deep techno side of the original.

‘Shape 1′ goes for a sinister excursion into electro with menacing 303s circle the beats like sharks in a tank. Dario Caruson adds eerie aesthetics with a chilling almost Horror esque remix.

You can always pick out the old skool party heads on the dance floor when Deee-Lite’s ‘Groove Is In The Heart’ gets an airing. The fun and funk from the original always seems to flick the nostalgia switch to make em go a little crazy, me included. German producer, DINKS, has recognized the energy the original gives off and has gone about creating this uptempo, crisp and snappy 2016 rework, so that the new generation of party heads can get some of the Disco grooves we enjoyed back in the day and join us on the dance floor so as that we can all enjoy great times.
