Loving the house-party funk vibes on this DJ Dan edit of Slynk’s ‘Hey You’ tune for earlier this year. Slap bass, soulful garage vocals and jazzy snippets make this a sure player at NYE gigs and into the new year itself.

Digital Bombs - General Narco

Lobbed urine at Jesus. Check. Fingered Beiber. Check. Set off a small nuclear device. Check. Started and ended World War III. Check. General Narco’s bucket list bear’s little resemblance to us mortal humans, he moves in circles so greasy, dark and musky that even Sir Very Elton Of John would struggle to keep up. His fingers are in more pies than the workaholic or the twelve fingered chef who founded Greggs.

Thinking of a crazy scheme? Too late, The General’s already been there. Bitcoin? Yawn, Narco’s already cashed out for ultra-bazillions, has purchased Nicaragua, a space station, two underground lair’s and a fleet of imperial droids he’s pimped out and renamed porntroopers.

Who is The General? No-one knows. Born from a drug fuelled party between Jackie Onassis, Marylyn Monroe, Hunter S. Thompson and James Brown, he remains as illusive as the Jackal, as mental as two Tony Montanas and dirtier than Pat Butcher on the gin. Rumour has it that he employs Escobar purely so he can roll his cigarillos on Pablo’s inner thigh, whilst maintaining eye contact as Pablo trembles in utter fear. He’s famed to have punched Jaws, nutted Medussa, given spiderman a wedgy, sexored all the female Blue Peter presenters and that he keeps Brian Blessed staked out in the sun and regularly harvests his beard and pubic hair which he sells under the guise of Cutters Choice.

If he made music it would probably be the best music in the world!

He does!

For your own sake, we recommend you buy The General’s new EP, it is an utter sex bomb! Which is ironic when you consider that’ either of those things could happen to you or your car if you don’t.

You have been warned!

‘In my box of tricks and know it will go down well’ Daddy G (Massive Attack)

‘What a pleasant surprise. Really digging this EP.. Who is General Narco though?’ Neon Steve

‘Wicked release! big up general narco!’ Barry Ashworth

JEM STONE - STORM IN A TEA CUP

Legendary Finger Lickin main man, Jem Stone, has a brand new 3 track Ep out this week entitled the Well Oiled Machine EP. With a varied selection of tracks he kicks things off with the classic house vibes of Storm In A Teacup. This really harks back to the classic sounds of early house music with a gracious nod to the classics but with more than enough originality and modern day swagger to secure it a place in your sets. ‘No Business For A Lady’ And ‘Well Oiled Machine’ blend slo-mo house with swing and funk to create some very unique tracks that will appeal to a wide range of DJ’s.

The Ep is available now from Jem’s new Bandcamp page, where you will find all his new material from now on.
