T-204 PODCAST
T-204 is a new podcast series showcasing the oustanding techno talent in the prairie city. I was very pleased to be asked to be the fourth featured artist, following Andre Bisseck, Sanctuary Resident Justin Kace, and MEMETIC Director Nathan Zahn.
At its core T_204 is about two things: techno and Winnipeg. T_204 is not a war cry for purists, rather it is an homage to Winnipeg’s electronic music origins. Manitoba is a cold dark place for more than half of year, which is why it pairs perfectly with techno.
My mix is 75 minutes of brooding techno, and includes a preview of my next two releases signed to the legendary Detroit Techno label KMS Records, along with tunes on Stripped Recordings, Drumcode, Tronic, Deeperfect, Suara, Bitten & More. Beatslappaz - Backbeat Promo Mix 2007
This mix from the Beatslappaz was recorded as a promotional mix way back in 2007 for a local night here in Perth, Australia called Backbeat. Pushing the forefront of the Breakbeat sound here in Perth at the time and it really pays homage to one of the true pioneers of the breaks scene and the main organiser of Backbeat, DJ Gully. Unfortunately Gully passed away earlier this year but the Beatslappaz sound is really present in this great Tearout Breaks mix for the time.

So apparently the artist "Final Conflict" was DJing a 3 hour set at the latest Hot Cakes event (Brixton Jamm) and decided he needed a break for a ciggie and a drink, therefore he handed over the reigns to D.Viant for 30 minutes and thus this is the resulting set.
This is the funniest thing i've heard in a while !
