Ground Level Records has put out some very high quality music in 2014. Head Honcho at the label, Andy McAllister recently released the dancefloor smasher Boooshka on the label, and now returns with a freebee of equal dopeness.

The original 'Control' is considered as one of the best global bass tracks to come out this year. The original is produced by Branko of Buraka Som Sistema, alongside Bert On Beats and vocalist Yadi

Andy's remix ups the BPMs for a low-slung bass heavy workout with tough kicks and snares.

The 1999 a classic DEEKLINE track “Don’t Smoke,” gets a re-invigoration for 2014. The tune’s been amped up with the help of SPECIMEN A and MAJESTIC. The tune first aired on Mistajam’s BBC Radio 1 show about four months ago with an unspecified release date but it looks like it will see the light of day via iTunes on May 26 and all other outlets on June 9.

Love & Other are continuing with more fire. The label’s latest is a two track collaborative single from a pair of Glaswegian producers, ILLYUS and BARRIENTOS. Grab them both on Beatport.

The title track harnesses garage basslines and combines it with bouncy house. Ballin’ indeed.

The b-side is a bit more chilled but sure to work wonders on the dancefloor all the same. The track reaches deep into house territory with some ethereal chord sweeps under a subtle bassline and warm kicks.
