Welcome to

Your daily source of breakbeat, dubstep, electro swing, ghetto funk music.

Every 2 weeks Future Music Fm ‘s resident, Lander hosts her rather sublime show The Landing Zone. The show is packed full of gorgeous, crisp and smooth sounds ranging from Deep House, Techno and Electronica.

Lander’s most recent show see’s a guest mix from one of her all time favourite artists, Simon Shackleton. This mix is a continuation of Simon’s work delving into the deeper side of his musical mind and is surely a taste of what’s to come as he hits the Playa of Burning Man this summer. Think dusky sunset and hazy sunrise with the warm friendly glow of the summer sun and your heading down the right track to blissfulness.

Catch Lander’s next show on Thursday 17th July at 18:00 GMT where she will have Michael McLardy on for the guest mix.

Here’s a cracking Breakbeat bootleg from Alt – A. A Dj / Producer who started out in the late 90′s playing Hard House to the Yorkshire massive. Having to take a break from all the music business, fast forward 10 years later and Alt – A finds himself in a world of infectious baselines, dramatic breakdowns and huge high energy Breakbeat. Having released tracks on labels such as Spektra Recordings, Funndark Records and V.I.M Records to name a few. he is definitely one to keep an eye on for future peak time Breakbeat releases.

Alt – A kindly gave this release of the INXS – Need You Tonight Bootleg to Bassica who herself is a resident on the award winning NSB Radio. Check the schedule on their website to catch her next show.

Ninewire are London based House music duo John Ryan and Alex Foreman. These guys have worked together before as John Ryan & Foreman playing house on the more techy side of things. John was also part of a duo alongside Mafia Kiss as The Hustle where Breakbeat was the order of the day. They are both regulars on the London clubbing scene holding residencies at the Egg Club and Pacha.

As Ninewire they have taken on a more deep and sleazy vibe to their choice of House music. The mix reflects a new direction for them perfectly. Enjoy this fine selection of groove filled tunes for free!

Westwood is proud to present another international collaboration between Canadian powerhouses, The Funk Hunters, and Germany’s finest funk duo, CMC&Silenta. This time enlisting the vocal talents of world renowned reggae-soul crusaders See-I, “Shock Rollin” is a 110bpm mid tempo party delivering the best of glitch, funk, bass, and that signature See-I sound. See-I (aka Rootz & Zeebo of Thievery Corporation fame) deliver electric rasta-inspired vocals over tightly produced bass drops and the catchiest of soulful hooks over a juicy funky breaks section. Also included is a hard hitting instrumental mix that easily stands on its own as yet another successful collab marrying The Funk Hunters gritty bass with CMC & Silenta’s catchy synth hooks.
