What we have here from Bristol based, United States of Audio, is something quite incredible! It’s a mixumentary telling the story of one of the greatest dance bands ever, the Kopyright Liberation Front, aka KLF. Using the tried and tested old skool method of ‘ Cut n Paste ‘ he takes snippets of news stories, radio shows and even a piece off Mastermind and adds that to pretty much every track the KLF ever made to produce an hours worth of essential listening. Whether you know the story of this sometimes chaotic but often genius band or not, the work gone in to this is means it’s a pleasurable education or re-educational experience. Tune in and lock on!

Despite being only 23, Charlie Beale is clearly a young lad with his taste in music firmly in check! Already featuring twice on the ward with a couple of real beauts he’s back, with this superbly executed tribute remix of ‘ Ghetto Woman ‘ by the late great legend, B.B King and it’s as smooth as you like! A must listen!

For the latest leg of ‘ The One Series ‘, Simon Shackleton found himself in what is regarded to be one of the best clubs in North America, Beta, which contains a massive 4-stack Funktion One rig that has made dj’s from all around the world giddy with excitement. Along with the team from Beta, Simon also joined up with, The Fantastic Hosts and between them all, conjured up what sounded to be like the perfect party with the perfect party atmosphere! As is the case with ‘ The One Series ‘, Simon took to the decks for just under 5 hours, taking the party goers and now us too, on a magical mystery tour of music which takes you around all the houses, Tech, Deep with a fine sprinkling of Acid and some exquisite Techno to create a mix that would not only enthuse your dancing feet but also your mind.

The next instalment of ‘ The One Series ‘ will be held in London for the annual boat party on the River Thames on the 11th July. This party is now in it’s 6th year and from the people who have attended one, widely regard it to be one of the parties of the summer!
