‘ Unstoppable ‘ is just that and it’s the latest EP to come from French Drum n Bass producer, Salaryman, released on Sub Slayers. The three tracks in this EP differ in styles so there’s a little something for everyone. The title track of the EP ‘ Unstoppable ‘ is some peak time business that’ll get the dance floor packed and going nuts! ‘ Heart & Soul ‘ is a much more soulful affair with a rich vocal, running along on a Liquid D n B tip. The final track ‘ Cold Fish ‘ sees Salaryman team up with fellow Frenchman, Hubwar, who create a Tech fuelled monster with the futuristic Neurofunk sound.

Having had releases on Andy C’sRam Records ‘ and J-Majik and Wickaman’sInfrared ‘, Salaryman is no stranger in the world of Drum n Bass. His music has caught the attention of many of the big names of the scene and many have been giving their thumbs up to this release which include, Tantrum Desire, Jaguar Skills, Zeds Dead, Drumsound and Grooverider. Join in the hype and make this yours!

Rico Tubbs returns to, Party Like Us Records with this immense new EP. It’s made of the right metal, none of this flimsy lightweight business as he’s been getting his smelt to bring you ‘ Iron Heart ‘.

The title track of the EP ‘ Iron Heart ‘ is a heavyweight! Masterfully blending the nu-skool Bass music sound with proper old skool Breaks, sweet vocals and as you will hear, a very neat slice of The Prodigy’s ‘ Charly ‘. The second track Totem arcs back to the Speed Garage days. A fierce bassline with an intoxicating level of foot shufflin’ beats.

As with many top EP’s come top remixes. These are provided by Skapes who takes on ‘ Iron Heart ‘ and Petey Clicks & Stranger Remix who tackles ‘ Totem ‘. Both adding a superb twist on the originals! An EP that’s well worth having in your armoury!

June Miller are inevitably coming closer to their debut album. With seven more days until this conundrum of genre cross-pollination and production ingenuity is unleashed, here’s a small appetiser to prepare yourself for an eclipse, caused by June Miller’s vast capabilities.

‘Chain of Strength’ is an introduction which hits you with wave after wave of seismic bass-driven impact. Lead unsuspectingly from a lulling piano intro, straight through a chasm of smashing, hardcore-reminiscent percussion and driving drums, it proves the duo’s endless versatility. Alongside a building break that literally pulses with anticipation, that first drop leaves you free-falling into an explosion of tightly intricate composition. A complete sensory overload, it sets a standard matched by their new material.

Then comes ‘Last Night on Earth’, creepy and gradually building tension with an instantly-recognisable sample of cinematic proportions. Both tracks are equally unstoppable, not leaving you time to breathe and carrying across an ocean of sound which is relentless. Amongst the ghost-like, clashing swords and almost untenable intensity, you’re pulled through loops of incessant hi-hats, amongst palpitation-inducing drum patterns.

A single that embodies the peak of any weekend set, here’s the marker for June Miller’s meteoric rise. After merging some of the darkest European styles, as well as smashing genre prototypes and incorporating drum & bass’ core production, the duo are switching up the game onto its next level.
