Back in 2013, Metalheadz, brought us a smash hit from Drum n Bass producers, ArpXP & Reza, with their track ‘When You Gone’. Now 2016 has rolled around, ArpXP figured the original was due a spruce up and duly went about giving it the mother of all edits. Time to lay down praise for the classic Amen Break in this hugely atmospheric re-fix from ArpXP. Hold on tight, it’s a biggie!

The London based label, Sub-Surface Records, deliver their latest EP from an up and coming talent in the UK Bass music scene, Digital Danger. The label itself specializes in the Deep Tech sound of House music and that’s exactly what the Wolverhampton born producer has served up with these three immense tracks.

All three are remixes with the first two being a couple of instantly recognizable reworks of originals. ‘Show Me Love’ by, Robin S and ‘Faded’ by, Zhu, get broken down and rebuilt into essential weapons of choice for those dark after hour moments, when it’s all getting a little crazy on the dance floor. Likewise with the third track, the intensity remains with a remix of ‘Sonic’ by, Carl St Pierre, that’s fixed up with a sample many a dance music fan will pick up on. If you’re wanting to beef up your set in a big way, these three were made just for you!

’24 Hours’ is not only the brand new free download album from, Tom Drummond, but it’s also roughly the same amount of time you’ll be completely relaxed for after soaking it all in. On the album you’ll find ten tracks that are all about the mellow funky groove. The first track off the album ‘Dive’ sets the tone of what’s to come as it invites you in on a Liquid Funk tip. Things heat up only a slight touch midway through the album with ‘Gets Deep’, but make no mistake, this is an album that has ‘Sunday night sessions’ written all over it. When music is this good it’s hard to pick a favourite, so I won’t. All that can be said is that each one of these tracks deserve every second you’re able to give to them. Shear class!
