Italian born producer, Matteo Floris, specialises in House music that is packed full of rhythm and groove, pumping bass and vox sampling. All of those elements stand out massively in his latest edit of Kenny K Collins ‘Beat My House’ that was released way back in 1987. His edit has 3 stunning breakdowns that are sandwiched between a real rock solid sound that just has to be experienced at high volume. Bang this one out folks and don’t hold back!

Thanks to the USA branch of Data Transmission for dropping this one!

Even though I’ve posted quite a bit of music from, Al Pack, I’d somehow managed to miss that he has another Soundcloud page that’s titled ‘D&B Remixes‘. It’s all very self explanatory but the remixes he has tucked away on that page are out of this world! They’re all of some very well known tunes and although many of them are for streaming pleasure only, Al’s latest piece of work, this sunshine filled Liquid D n B bootleg of Grove Theory‘s 90’s Neo-Soul hit ‘Tell Me’, is all yours for free. It’s sounds amazing now, but like me, I’m sure you can imagine how god this will sound when the warmer times arrive. Happy, happy days when you’ve got music by Al Pack filling the airwaves.

Back in 2014, Cakeboy released his huge Breakbeat album ‘Gateau Blaster’. On that album was a track that was a particular favourite of his because of the vocal hook he used and that track is ‘Vibrate The Place’. It’s fair to say the original was already a bit of a beast but Cakeboy’s somehow managed to create a monster with his re-bake! Huge amounts of bass and Cakeboy’s unmistakable application of energy makes this one to not miss!

If you want to investigate Cakeboy’s ‘Gateau Blaster’ album further, find it here on Juno.

Liverpool is a city steeped in musical history and the duo of Will Hollyoaks and Rory Palmer, aka Henry Street Social, are on a mission to create a piece of their own. They’ve already had releases on labels such as Simma Black and Disco Kicks and they’ve had support from the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Low Steppa, Hector Moralez, Todd Terry and Kenny Dope, so it’s evident that these guys are definitely on the right track. Of course, all that support is all down to their skills at making music and creating their own brand of bass driven House and Techno and to sample their sound, we’re sending your way their awesome rework of Moby’s classic ‘Go’. The nostalgia lives large but the guys have toughened things considerably and applied modern touches to make this a must have track to spin at your next party!

Phlegmatic Dogs turn the art of Bass music into a fine tuned beast with their ‘Keepmastik EP’ on Night Bass. The title track wastes no time in building tension and offloading a few rounds of dubby bass mayhem. ‘Serious Frenkie’ growls like an angry..well, Dog!!! Snarling, posturing, and capable of backing up the braggadocio, this one’s for the rowdy ravers!!! ‘Donut Dope’ howls like a siren from get go with Loletta Hollaway vocal refrains and UK Jungle bleeps and bloops. On the whole, this particular track is the most UK-centric with throwbacks to the aforementioned Jungle sound and 98′ style Speed Garage. The Night Bass fam just burnt another hole in your speaker and you loved it!!!

Once again he’s assembled a killer mix that’s geared towards the 4/4 lovers and incorporates his unmistakable progressive flow from crisp and uplifting Tech House, through to bone crushing Techno and a bit of Acid just to give that extra spacey feel. Alex & Manu Henning offer a slice of the preternatural with their ‘Kimia EP’. ’15am’ is all about the middle of night shuffles with moody Kings Of Tomorrow style vocals and shuddering synths. ‘Kimla’ moves deeper into the night with a melodic disquiet that creeps into the skin creating that compulsion to get up and dance.Sophisticated sounds and beats that stir the very soul.
