Joe Bonner ‘Got To Have It’ is out now on Locker Room Recs with remixes by Drift & 20Blood. The original is a jackin’ groover with layered percussion, timely vocal snippets and a gradual teasing of the main Detroit influenced synth hook. Drift takes that hook and amps it up for a tough frenzied pounder of a rework. Finally, 20Blood take a very different direction adding in breakbeats and cut up loops from the original for a supremely funky refix.
