Sub-Surface Records – White Label EP
After we brought you the dark and destructive ‘Digital Danger REWORX’ EP from, Sub-Surface Records, they’re now back with another free 3 track EP that carries the same levels of power and precision. The Deep Tech sound of House is what the label is all about, as well as promoting rising stars and relatively unknown names of the scene and the top music they make.
The first of the tracks off the EP comes from London based, Realness Mix. The undercurrent of his track ‘O Baby’ may well be deep and dark, but there’s still a real pop and fizz to it to get bums off seats and feet on dance floors. Manchester’s, Mike Jones is up next, with his fully loaded track ‘Trifling’. This one’s super solid and features vocal samples from, Destiny’s Child’s ‘Bills Bills Bills’, adding a smoothness to the heaviness. The last track ‘Lonely Hearts’ is by Nottingham’s, Stewart McCulloch and is by far the toughest sounding of the lot. Extra tough beats and again another female vocal sample, this time from, Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and much like the track before, very neatly used. Three very trusty weapons to be found here, go make em yours.
