CUB – The Baddest EP – In A Box Records

Lots of newness going on in this post! In A Box Records, are very much in their infancy as they’ve only just lit the touch paper on their new adventure on the 1st of January this year. Their aim is to push modern sounding music and the promising stars of the future which is backed up by their debut EP release ‘The Baddest’ by UK based, CUB, a dude who himself appears to be just getting off the mark and what a way to start!

The title track of the EP by, CUB, is an ultra solid slab of Bass House. This one will sit alongside tracks by the main players of the scene and not sound out of place at all! An old skool break being driven on by a feisty attitude and you’ve got a track that deserves it’s time to shine on the dance floor!

CUB’s track ‘The Baddest’ is accompanied by three cracking remixes. Inkline, throws in a large helping of the classic Amen Break while, DopekidJay, approaches the borders of Tech House with his remix. Fin Evans rounds things off by adding some old skool piano in his remix for that retro feel. All in all, a fine selection of music and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for this digital imprint and the artists they bring us.
