Advent Day #14 – Miss Monument – Pound It

It’s been another busy year for, Miss Monument. Whilst packing in gigs and festival sets she has also kept the flow of top draw dj’s going at her night ‘Broken’ which is held in London. As well as that, Miss Monument, has found time to start up her own business and take to the studio to start on her own production work under the guise of, Monumentus (more on that shortly). If that wasn’t enough, we’ve landed this exclusive mix from, Miss Monument, which she has kindly put together for us for day 14 of our advent giveaway. If you’ve caught any of her mixes that we’ve posted this year you’ll soon notice that this one is a step away from her familiar Breaks orientated sound. ‘Pound It’ is a mix that does just that and dishes out a high level of quality Techno. It’s one of those mixes where once you’ve pressed play, you’ll soon end up sticking two fingers up to the Monday blues! There’s no time like the present, lets stomp!

As mentioned above, Miss Monument, has a brand new track coming out in the next couple of weeks under the new name of, Monumentus, called ‘Contemplation’. Sometimes the name of a track and the track itself don’t always match but this one is bang on the money! Although it’s high up in the 140bpm end of Breaks, this is one will simply grab your mind and take it on a wander such is the mysterious soundscape it posses. Where will your mind end up? There’s only one way to find out, hit it..
