Can you believe it has been 50 years since Daleks, Cybermen and other equally scary entities scared the bejesus out of us on a Saturday night? To celebrate the start of the new series of Dr Who hitting our screens, Rory Hoy has decided to do his own version of  the iconic theme tune.

Mr Hoy has been a busy man. Having just dropped his 5th album on Freddy Fresh’s Howlin’ Records label called ‘Sketching Shadows’, he has not been pinned down to any set genre. We have the classic Fatboy Slim inspired Big Beat sounds, Electro Swing grooves and even a bit of stomping Acid House. Also see collaborations from legendary dance don Freddy Fresh (Who’s worked with the greats such as Eminem and Fatboy himself in the past) and Howlin’s own Andy Ictus.
