STEYOYOKE RECORDINGS: FAMILY AFFAIR VOL.04

Steyoyoke Recordings has a seemingly unparallelled dedication to underground house music. What’s magical about this is that they do so void of attitude or musical snobbery – the Berlin imprint consistently releases records without any desire to shine a spotlight on music that is truly meant for dim spaces.

Last year Steyoyoke put the finishing touches to their artist roster and the label is now experiencing an ongoing creative continuum, releasing dancefloor art while bringing Steyoyoke to its current state of musical solidarity.

Family Affair Vol.04 is a testament to this by expanding upon their brand of minimalism in two parts. The compilation features nine remixes from within the Steyoyoke family with their artists adding their own personal flavours to some of 2014ʼs biggest tracks.
