Bob Marley & The Wailers (The Fort Knox Five Remixes)

Like many artists around the world, Fort Knox Five, have been and still are massively influenced in the music they make by the legend that is, Bob Marley. Back in 2007 the Fort Knox guys were officially commissioned by Tuff Gong Records & Island Records to remix ‘ Duppy Conqueror ‘ and ‘ Soul Shakedown Party ‘. The results, well, it’s Bob Marley and Fort Knox Five combined, the only outcome is music of the finest quality. This is music everyone should own!

The Friday just passed would have been Bob Marley’s 70th birthday and I’m sure he would have been digging these sounds had he still been around. Happy bleated birthday, Robert Nesta Marley!
