TBT #14 – Evil Nine – Burn It To The Ground
Pat Pardy and Tom Beaufoy aka Evil Nine have been bringing us genre breaking music for 16 years now. Back in 2004 Breakbeat was at the fore front of their musical minds where they brought out there ground breaking debut album ‘ You Can Be Special Too ‘, released on Adam Freeland’s label Marine Parade Records. The album contained what must now be considered one of the all time greats of Breaks ‘ Crooked feat Aesop Rock ‘.
The track posted for this weeks Throwback Thursday was made back in 2004 and was a previously unreleased track up until a year ago when they popped it up on their Soundcloud page. It’s pure Evil Nine and has their unique sound stamped all over it!
Evil Nine have brand new music imminent and if the rumours are true, they will be heading back to their old skool Breaks sound although as top artists they won’t simply repeat what has gone, oh no. The guys will take that sound and and tinge it with all influences new and old to bring you something that I’m sure will once again be described as ‘ ground breaking’.
Head to there Facebook page HERE so as not to miss out on there new music news and pop along to their Soundcloud page HERE to get yourself acquainted or to reminisce on all the music they have on there for you to listen to.
