Growing, I was obsessed with INXS. Their breakthrough album, Kick, never left my side for years. I hold this record deep in my heart so I don’t listen to remixes from it lightly. It’s with great pleasure then, that KEEPERS gives us a track that my 10 year old self would have gotten down to.
The Denver duo’s first release in over a year, brims with an expansive low end punch, that not only compliments “Need You Tonight,” but amplifies the sense of urgent emotional demands. Keepers caps off the punch laden kick with an intoxicating bass line, interlaced with the original guitar riff. “One Of My Kind” is a true testament that quality is always preferred over quantity.
