DEAD BELLY: DIGRESSION EP [SUB NATION]

There is seemingly an endless stream of new labels as of late. Here’s one with a fresh look at the world of bass music brought to you by Jay Cunning / Sub Slayers. Sub Nation launches via newcomer DEAD BELLY with their eclectic yet dance floor focused Digression EP.

Burnt Out carries some heavy weight, tapping a UKG / garage shuffle, guaranteeing it’s place as a dance floor filler.

The EP’s namesake carves out a primal rhythm in the infectious bass line – those hips are about to shake.

“Get To Work” also gets a bit tribal for another club shaker. The tune is rounded out nicely with chopped up vocals, bouncing bass, and rolling beats.

Finishing off the EP is a free download. “Friction,” rolls out some retro garage feels on this cut too, but it’s powered by some more of the heavy heavy to get the dance floor sweaty sweaty.
