WINNIPEG WEDNESDAY: LEGIT FRIDAYS [MAY 23]

Another installment of Legit:Fridays is upon us this week. The monthly is dedicated to bass music done proper and focuses its frequencies on the underground. You won’t be turned away if you’re wearing neon, but chances are if you’re PLURing out with it, you’ll likely be in the minority.

On the bill this month is GRUDGE, who may or may not let loose the sub bass at 100 bpm. Memetic‘s director NATHAN ZAHN is a house and techno purist so I’m curious as to what he’s going to play. CHRIS KOMUS is a wonderkid of glitch. The last time I heard him play he opened for Stickybuds and the sonics he had in his set were otherworldly.
