Vancouver’s PAT LOK has been making noise the past few years with his ability to weave disco, pop, R&B, into soulful house jams. Recently he’s been taking his productions a bit deeper, both in terms of the genre and the sonics he’s applying to them. Fans and peers alike are taking notice as he’s celebrating a million plays on SoundCloud with a free download.
Taking vocal snippets from the 1995 classic, “Freak Like Me” by Adina Howard, Pat infuses the track with some bassline wobble and piano stabs to puncture the most discerning house music aficionado.
