CAUSE & AFFECT: OPERATION 60 EP [FREE DOWNLOAD]
House music heavyweights CAUSE & AFFECT released their latest four-track EP as a free download (but you can also support them by buying it on Beatport) on Bullet Train Records. The Birmingham duo, comprised of producer / DJs CHRIS LORENZO and KANE, Cause & Affect are widely know for pioneering the jack house / bass hybrid. Their cause has been furthered by Lorenzo’s award-nominated productions with Hannah Wants, as well as the duo’s weekly show on Rinse FM. They’ve produced some deadly remixes for Stanton Warriors, legendary US house label Strictly Rhythm and Brodinski’s Bromance label. Their cut on Dirtybird’s recent BBQ comp has also given them more reason to pay head.
To be expected, given the duo’s history, the Operation 60 EP explores all corners of bass and house, from jacking to garage, with a little techy flair thrown in for good measure.
