WUKI: LIP POP [PUNKS MUSIC]
Having exploded onto the worldwide bass stage, WUKI is the genre-blending solo project of Denver-based producer Kris Barman. His deadly debut on the Punks Music imprint is yet another testament to his talents for producing the low frequencies.
“Lip Pop” is both playful and serious. While the bassline and subterranean kicks bring in a shuffle so focused we get lost staring at our feet, the frisky vocals and flirtatious noodlings keep our heads up and smiles on our faces.
Buffalo bad men EYES EVERYWHERE have stepped up on some seriously heavy remix duties. Their edit is equally playable in the clubs as it is useful for throwing off the sheets.

Caspa- 500 [Dub Police]
Dub Police’s Caspa has a new album out and they are taking it back to the essence of Dubstep
“500 is an album I wanted to make that didn’t compromise, and allowed me to be completely selfish. I wanted to be in the studio and have fun. I didn’t want to think about who would like it, or where it would be placed. It wasn’t about making music to fill stadiums; it was about making music to fill basements. It’s dark, cinematic, emotional, and raw. 500 is the soundtrack to that vision and movement.” – Caspa
‘500’ has received critical acclaim from DJ Mag, Radio One’s Mistajam and Do Androids Dance. Capsa collaborates with the likes of Beenie Man, Klashnekoff, MC $pyda, Mayhem & Emalkay among others on gems such as Foundation Dub, London To Atlanta & Tomorrow, just a few highlights from a truly epic journey, 13 tracks in total that join the dots in Dubstep/Bass Music’s vast soundscape providing some heavy hitting action to seriously ramp things up!!!!

BadboE – Ghetto Funk Testament – Out now on 12″ Vinyl!
A1. BadboE – Eye Of The Beholder
A2. BadboE – Feel Like Funkin’ You Up
AA1. BadboE – Refuse to Quit
AA2. BadboE – Start Up The Phonograph
Out now on 12″ vinyl on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings.
Available in the Juno Store:
http://www.juno.co.uk/products/badboe-ghetto-funk-testament/574282-01/
The time has come for BadboE to return to once again rock the floors across the planet with an explicit 4-track party breaks EP. The Ghetto Funk Testament is BadboE’s interpretation of the sound of ghetto funk that has been causing so much hype over the last few years. The 4 funky bangers on this double a-sided EP is taking it back to where it all started – as sample-heavy – upbeat party smashing music!
This is the first major release from BadboE since his successful second album Pump Up The Funk that dropped in 2012. Followed by an instrumental EP and a remix album, which very much celebrated the ghetto funk sound with tunes from the very best in the scene.
Making a full Ghetto Funk EP was a natural next step for one of the pioneer players in the funky breaks scene, who has been one of the go-to sources for all funky DJs for the last 10 years. BadboE’s approach on ghetto funk however is not taking itself too serious, but focuses on the good samples and heavy beats and just enough bass to keep it ghetto without loosing the soul of the music. All 4 cuts on the EP keeps up that happy funky vibes and the b-boy flavors that BadboE is known and loved for.
Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is now one of the last labels to be releasing funky breaks/ghetto funk on vinyl and we are proud to continue to provide the very best this scene has to offer. This EP will remain exclusive for vinyl DJs for the next 6 month before dropping on digital.
A1. Eye of the beholder sets things off with a big soul groove chopped and cut to perfection. Mixed with some funky street beats and some rocking ghetto funk bass lines. Finally some well-picked rap hooks from the golden era of hiphop takes it home with style.
A2. Feel Like Funkin’ You Up continues on with catchy chopped samples and rhymes from the finest sources of hiphop. It’s all spiced up with some crisp electro synth and ghetto bass lines and some straight up funky BadboE beats.
AA1. On the flip side BadboE returns to the big soul grooves and bouncy basslines as he seamlessly mashes up some smooth RnB vocals and turns it into a ghetto funk anthem.
AA2. BadboE ends off his Ghetto Funk testament by infusing some silky smooth disco vibes, which blends perfectly in a ghetto funk treatment. The art of sampling cannot be replaced with wobble bass and this is a perfect track to remind us of that.
