The latest signing on the awesome Jalapeno Records is the laidback funk & soul sounds of The Ephemerals. With an all star line-up featuring former members of Keke Mokoro, Gene Dudley Group, Dakhla, Kalakuta Millionaires, Marvelous & Bombs, the band seriously know their stuff!

Lead singer Wolfgang Valbrun only began singing publicly three years ago but has risen sharply to become an in demand artist. The musicians in the band are all funk educated to the highest degree too, including blog regular Jimi Needles on the skins! The band are to release their debut LP Sept 1st 2014 via Jalapeno. Expect big things from the Ephemerals.

We have the slick Featurecast remix to premiere for you today. Mr ‘Cast takes things off the burner a touch from his most recent Ghetto Funk productions. Here he turns out a smooth as silk, jazzy hip hop interpretation which is one of those tracks you just cant help but nod your head to (or shake your ass, you know what I mean?).
