Foamo has been tearing up the dance music for some time now. He is one half of the chart topping, Gorgon City, a regular in Rinse FM, he has landed himself a residency at ‘ We Love… Sundays ‘ at Space in Ibiza and has picked up one of the legends in the dance music world as a fan, Laurent Garnier. So it goes without saying that this dude knows what he’s doing when it comes to making music!

‘ Hits… The Remixes ‘ is a retrospective of Foamo’s work which has been released on, Fat! Records and sees 6 very individual and incredible remixes from My Nu Leng, Kry Wolf, Taiki Nulight, Millions Like Us, Highbloo and Warrior One. Take your pick or have them all, the choice is yours!

Fat! Records has a bit of history behind them. Following a brief hiatus, head honcho relaunched the imprint in 2010 with a release from FOAMO, aka Kye Gibbons. You may recognize the name as being one half of GORGON CITY. It was this release that some could speculate launched Kye’s reputation as a producer to watch. The “Jookie / Centavo” double single was followed by a trio of successful singles in 2011, which included “Celestial,” “Ocean Drive” and “Vibrations.”

Fat! just released a retrospective, appropriately titled, Hits, from Foamo to either reminisce or get you up to speed on what half of Gorgon City was up to a few years ago. It includes the 2012 “Rumours EP” and remixes from MY NU LENG and KRY WOLF, which were also featured on the “Sherlock Remixes EP” in 2013. Forget the fact that these tunes are two years old, they’re still total fire. Oh, and they’re available for free download.

Father Funks had a rough time of it lately. He hit a goal of 4000 followers, 1/2 the amount his moustache has on Twitter, but still a sizeable amount. Then just after getting over his furry lips victory in fans… Facebook deleted inactive accounts, taking him down to 3999.
