Illgorhythms – High Funk Fidelity
Although Illgorhythms are still a relatively new duo to hit the midtempo Funk n Bass scene, they’ve come flying out of the blocks with a handful of impressive releases so far. The most recent of these is their new free Glitch Hop monster ‘High Funk Fidelity’ that’s bringing a whole heap of funky, whompy goodness to your day. It comes ahead of another two new tunes from the guys which you can check out on the Soundcloud link bellow and while you’re there, give them a follow to because there’s plenty more bangers on the way!

Butch le Butch – Theme From Shanty Town
Australia has served up a high number of top draw producers from various underground scenes and another one we’ve recently had the pleasure of discovering is, Butch le Butch. He was bitten by the Disco bug at a young age and has been infected by the groove ever since. After honing his skills behind the decks in clubs in Melbourne, it was time for him to experiment with making music of his own and it’s a decision we’re very thankful he made as the music we’ve listened to of his, is absolute first class! Butch produces Disco gems of his own and he also remixes very familiar tunes from the scene, as well as rare and forgotten about ones to.
As a welcome to the LSM ward, we’re sharing with you Butch’s joyous tune ‘Theme From Shanty Town’ which will only ever bring light to the darkest of days. Sweet Disco vibes, the smoothest of grooves and plenty of horns makes this a winner with us and we’re sure you’re gonna love it to. Happy times incoming!

Rolling Stones – Gimmie Shelter (Remixed by Pied Piper)
I’m not quite sure how I’ve never managed to blog the music by London based Pied Piper before, because once you’ve listened to his music, it’s all to apparent that he is a total genius! As well as being a super skilled Arranger, DJ, Songwriter, Composer, Drummer, Percussionist, Audio Engineer and Multi-Instrumentalist, Pied Piper also uses his skills to great affect when editing and remixing golden oldies from days gone by. A rather outstanding introduction to his work is his super extended Disco laced remix of Rolling Stones ‘Gimmie Shelter’. You really don’t want to have anything immediate to do when tackling this tune because it will take all of your attention whether you like it or not, it is that damn good!
This remix really is the tip of a very large iceberg when it comes to the amount of music you can find from Pied Piper and it keeps on growing because he’s a very active producer and new music arrives to his Soundcloud page on a frequent basis. Get your digging hat on because there’s tons of gold to be found!

All Good Funk Alliance – Late Night Workshop 20
If ever there was a mix series that was more suited to a Sunday, and particularly one where you’ve got some scheduled chill time booked in, All Good Funk Alliance’s ‘Late Night Workshop’ is the one. All the previous 19 volumes have been lovingly handcrafted with the most soul soothing music the guys can lay there hands on and volume 20 continues in the same vein, with an hours worth of music that you’ll want to listen to again and again. The Autumn sun is beaming through my window and this mix is playing as I type, life feels pretty damn good right about now and I hope the good times find you too.

Warren G feat. Nate Dogg – Regulate (K+Lab Bootleg)
It’s always time to sit up and take note when there’s new music from K+Lab heading your way because this New Zealander really knows how to make the kind of tunes that has everyone hunting for their spot on the dance floor. There’s no getting away from that fact when you check out his latest free tune, a bouncy Drum n Bass bootleg of ‘Regulate’ by, Warren G feat. Nate Dogg, that has a great energy and groove with a touch of filth for good measure. Party making music without doubt!

Featurecast – Keep On Jumping
Featurecast is another artist who has more than enjoyed his festival packed summer. The grassy, sometimes muddy fields of the UK, have taken a pounding when he’s been behind the decks and one of the tunes that has been getting the biggest reactions in his sets is his own remix of ‘Keep On Jumping’ by, Todd Terry. He’s put a somewhat unexpected House twist on the original which is not normally a path he chooses to tread, but as you can expect, Featurecast has done things proper by applying a Disco tinged, Bass House twist that’s so damn filthy, you’ll need to get jet-washed after each listen! Keep on jumping you will.
