Bumper Tunes Roundup time!!!!

Delusions of Grandeur B-Sides [Hardkiss Music]

The legendary Hardkiss imprint serves up a trio of deep house/techno delights that truly are a cut above the rest. Lovely analogue style sounds with a touch of the early 92 Prog House about them

W.Jeremy-Passion EP

W.Jeremy is back on Get Up Recordings with a fresh motherload of House & Techno. We especially love the dark pounding ‘Master Blaster (Warehouse Mix)’

Brumaag-Geometric Seamless Pattern EP

Mexico-based imprint Black Habitat welcomes Brumaag into the fold. They duly reciprocate with some super deep late night Techno, a must to hear!

Alan Cross-Farila

Census Sound boss Alan Cross flips the script with an oceanic electronica track loaded with dreamy sax stabs. For the house lovers, the squelchy Kostas Goustas Acid Sax Mix &  terrace ready Andrea Fissore Mix are both the ticket!!!

LAYDEE VIRUS-Artificial Lockup

Testicular fortitude is needed when listening to the darker than dark bangers on Laydee Virus’ new release on Viral Mental. Like a DnB soundtrack for Silent Hill, it don’t get much more ferocious than this!!!

LATECOMER & Justin Pak – Drop Down

Another fiyah EP from the Rhythm Control label. LATECOMER & Justin Pak ‘Drop Down’ a huge funky bassline and ‘Give It More’ weighty drum and driving loops. Top top off a quality release, Craig Robinson drops by for some remix action

Syntax Erik Don’t Wanna Dance EP

Syntax Erik’s claim of not wanting to dance isn’t backed up at all by the highly danceable tracks on his latest EP for Beatservice. The title track is particularly fiery with busy acid stabs and rolling breaks

Huxley – Rag & Bone EP

Rich, textured tribal techno from Huxley on Aus Music. Musical and bangin’ at the same time!!!

Titan Road-Maximize EP

It really is all about the bass, lots of it on Amplified Record’s latest debutante. Titan Road goes in with some addictive tribal house rhythms on this essential 2 track release!!

BLIM aka Gervase E. Cooke is a classically trained musician and was at the forefront of the early Nu Skool Breaks scene back in the early 2000’s with his unique style that fitted well with music from that day. He had quite a few releases on Rennie Pilgrem’s label TCR along with other artists such as Chris Carter, General Midi, Elite Force and JDS to name a few. This mix was recorded LIVE in the studios of Tilos Radio in Budapest, Hungary back in 2003.
