Nefti-15 Years Anniversary Album

From Poland with bass!!!! Hardcore/Rave Breaks legend, DJ, producer and Intensive Recs label bossman Nefti celebrates a 15 year musical milestone with this fantastic album, lets break down the awesomeness!!!! The Game
Starts with a mysterious atmospheric intro then kicks into a hefty dose of ruffneck bassline, rolling amen breaks and oldskool keys
Desire (VIP Mix)
Uplifting is what Nefti does so well and ‘Desire VIp has plenty of that along with slamming 808s and beats!!!
Winner Ft Domi
Great vocals on this huge big room breaks banger with anthemic pianos and vocals, it’s a winner!!
Let It Be Me
A fantastic combo of signature Nefti pianos and dirty electro bass a la Flash Cats & Sanxion
Cover Me Ft Sheila (VIP Mix)
Pure happy 92 style rave in the style of Dream Frequency et al, be ready for a barrage of fizzing bass and stomping breaks on this one!!!
Medicine
We’ll take this medicine all day long, you will note repeated use of the word ‘pianos’ in this review because nefti is the king of pianos and big funky riffs like the one on ‘Medicine’
Taking Me High (VIP Mix)
With a nod to the anthemic sound of the likes of Q Tex and the later era Kniteforce imprint. Early 90’s rave euphoris meets the bite and crispness of modern breaks and this is fiyah!!!
Show You Something Ft Domi
A slower more housey number rather like neftis’ Rave Force alias. This will evoke happy memories for the older ravers among us and equally so for the younger ones. One of the best tracks on this great LP
Oneplayz Ft Martyna Sierminska- Feel It (Nefti Remix)
Switching between tinkling and sparkling pianos, ecstatic vocals and some good ol’ gurning n’ growling bass savagery, a massive massive remix!!!
E-Lab Rat – Uplifting Tip (Nefti Remix)
E Lab Rat of Warehouse Wax fame gets a top remix included on Neftis’ 15th Anniversary LP. Very much in the style of Warehouse Wax i.e an certified banger!!!
Sanxion – Hold Me Endless (Nefti Remix)
Amping up the bass mayhem of Sanxions’ original to plus ten for a seriously epic workout!!!
Cyborg (Sanxion Remix)
Sanxion steps in to return the favour on ‘Hold Me Endless’ with his amen tastic slammer of a remix of ‘Cyborg’ the mind of a machine never sounded so good!!!
And thus ends a essential collection of tracks marking a milestone in the career of one of Hardcore/Rave Breaks’ true warriors. Feel the euphoria, pick up a copy from 25.6.16 from all good download stores

Trei feat The Upbeats - Tonto

Buy or Stream: https://viper.lnk.to/vpr090
Two of New Zealand's most prolific Drum & Bass outfits, Trei and The Upbeats combine forces for this banging new single on Viper Recordings, 'Tonto / Shangri-La'.
Fresh off a Beatport #1 remix of North Base's 'What R U Doing?' and a brand new track 'Mirage' on Viper's Let It Roll Festival EP, Trei has been firing on all cylinders.
Meanwhile, The Upbeats have just dropped the first part of their massive De-Evolution series EP's including another huge Beatport #1 with 'Pharaoh'.
‘Tonto’ kicks things off with a suitably intense intro and build-up that’ll get your blood pumping, before dropping straight in to a hard-hitting bassline which is uncompromising in its sheer power and production quality.
Next up is ‘Shangri-La’ which is as exotic as the title suggests – taking on a darker, more mysterious vibe and following up with unpredictable twists and turns throughout. Laying down some seriously intense beats from start to finish, this one’ll keep you on your toes.
Intense and action-packed, it’s safe to say that this collaboration will be smashing a fair few dancefloors this summer!

VA – Big Fat Mama Beats
I’m sure by now that when the name, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is mentioned, your next thoughts will more than likely be, party time Funky Breaks, and you’d be right to think that, but for their latest EP ‘Big Fat Mama Beats’ things have gotten a whole lot heavier! To make this EP as fully loaded, BBP have called on the big guns to provide 7 bullets that contain explosive bass and beats only. discObeta, Mr Rich and The Caretaker, Cashgroove, Wiccatron, The Funky Boogie Brothers, Rory Hoy and PulpFusion all step up to the plate with an eclectic range of sounds that’ll see the size of the dance floor swell with eager dancing feet. If you’ve been good and have some spare money stored away, this bag of bangers is worth every penny!

Kritical Records Volume 2
Kritical Records may well be one of the smaller records labels from the UK’s capital, but don’t let that fool you into thinking the music they release is of the similar size because these guys know how to bring the bass! Here to prove that point is this free 5 track EP featuring some soon to be stars of the Bass House scene. Kaylah drops some Acid into his bass with ‘Oh So Funky, while Bisset throws in a soulful spin by using a Marvin Gaye sample on is track ‘Let Me Go’. Slim Chance takes a much tougher stance with the first of his two tracks ‘Chat Sh*t Get Banged’ and Llnk follows on by bringing the filthiest bassline to his Garage infused track ‘We Got’. Slim Chance’s second track ‘Bring The Noise’ feat. Harry Crowe certainly does that and is the heaviest and dirtiest track off the EP. 5 absolute belters that are all yours!

Hong Kong Ping Pong Mixtape 10
Due to other music commitments, the Hong Kong Ping Pong guys don’t find many opportunities to drop one of their now legendary mixtapes, but when they do it’s really time to sit up and take notice! As long time fans of HKPP will know and as it clearly states, this is a mixtape, so if this is our first time checking out these get ready to be taken on genre hoping magic carpet ride. The chop and change of direction and tempo is seamless as always and because of that, you cannot wait to see what’s coming around the next corner. With no indication that this mix was on the way, this Thursday has taken a surprising and very welcomed turn for the better.
**Please be aware that if you have children, this mix contains explicit language in the intro, so a listen while they’re around, might lead to some very awkward questions**
