Hugely prolific German producers Kaiserdisco are back on one of their regular labels for a sixth fine EP of their searing grooves. That label is Drumcode, and the EP is Toleranz, a fantastic four track affair that features a fine remix from Pleasurekraft.

Hamburg based Kaiserdisco have been active since 2008, and in that time have put out 30 EPs and nearly 50 remixes. As well as running their own labels, KD Music and KD RAW, they are regulars on the likes of Suara and Tronic and are as able to headline a big festival stage as they are to lock down a more intimate club. Drumcode, of course, is one of the day’s foremost techno labels, with boss Adam Beyer ensuring only the most compelling beats make their way onto his Swedish imprint.

Up first is Get Enough, seven minutes of seductive techno that has an almost machine-gun like disco synth firing across the groove. It is a rumbling peak time track with real force and energy that will bring any floor to life. The title track, Toleranz, is a gritty and stripped back basement cut with dry hits and burrowing acid bass that takes you deep into the night. Cobra then proves this pair have real breadth in the studio and is a barrel chested house cut with more big hits, rib rattling bass and incendiary techno hi hats that really get you on your toes.

Remixing are the tech duo of Pleasurekraft, whose releases on OFF and Mood Records have won them plenty of DJ and dancing fans. They layer in some dark melodies to SQ80 and build it steadily before allowing the militant drums and crisp snares to explode and drive you and the whole club forwards.

This is another big and high impact release from both Drumcode and Kasierdisco that is sure to make its mark on anyone who hears it.

New House & Techno Tunes:

Latecomer give ‘Music Is The Answer’ a tough makeover, more like ‘Tech House Music Is The Answer!’, we love it and it’s a free DL!!! Nice one guys!

Also up for free DL is a 3 part EP on NM Recordings featuring three different mixes of Celladore x MOAD ‘Freedom’. Our pick is the excellent Flava D mix

Those cool cats Deeptrak have a new track on Freakin909, it’s called ‘Bang Bang’ and it certainly is a classy banger of a track!

K & K have a new EP on Sleazy Deep which is getting a great reaction. One listen to ‘Peaceful crowd’ will tell you why, come on in, come on in!

Myriad Black have a great new track by Manuel Costela out. It’s a twisted Disco workout called ‘Southern Oracle’ which comes with an even more twisted remix!

State Unknown have a stunning vocal house track out now on Country Club Disco. These guys really showcase their production skills to full effect. And how could we not mention the luscious groove of a Mike Millrain remix that completes this fine package!

And how about some club-ready Techno action supplied by CDC’s latest two track EP on Cubism? More of this please sirs!

Gents & Dandys have now issued their recent vinyl only release to Digital eliminating all excuse not to buy it. Just listen to this house gem by The Verticals below, one of four fantastic reasons to buy!

Black Girl/White Girl make exceptional House & Techno beats. Take their latest EP as a prime example. These ladies are right up there with Lupe Fuentes when it comes to fiyah tunes!! This is ‘Roll Up’ taken from their latest EP on Strictly Deep…

And here’s a tidy funky club/tech shuffler from Richard Harrington. It’s a free DL from those top peeps at Fidget Black!!

New one on Get Twisted Recs, Tough Love & Karren Harding ‘Like I Can’ comes pre-loaded with firing remixes like thi one by DJ Q!

HUUUUUUUGGGGEEEE TUUUUUUUUNNNNNE from Rafta FL! This massive anthem on the Criminal Hype imprint is back!!! Featuring vocals by Mr V and a set of slammin’ remixes like this fave of ours by Max Chapman. This is ‘How We Do!’

Matteo Rosolare & JoJo have a new EP of 3 atmospheric and darker edged tech house tracks on In The Loop. We like this one ‘Momentum’ in particular

Back on the Techno tip, Ali Ahmad’s latest release has been doing very nicely. Tracks like ‘Inner Peace’ complete with great big whopping hoover riffs are just the ticket!!!

Roog regularly collabs with Dennis Quin so with that in mind, you can expect some serious fiyah when they go solo for Simma Black. Fiyah is just what we get!!!

D Vine Sound’s recent multi-artist EP features funky treats like this one from Truth Be Told. It’s time to move on, groove on!

Rhythm Control’s Ibiza Closing Party comp is a must have selection of top-class tech House. We really dig this tune by Justin Pak with it’s powerful vocal sample. Play this one in front of Donald Trump and shut that man down!

And we finish with some Grimey Garage goodness from Tigs on Highly Swung Records. Shake yo’ funk trunk to the winding basslines of this bad bwoi!!

After Arteo popped on to the ward a few days ago with his latest tune ‘You’ll Never Know‘, he’s now returned with his beat making brother, Dubra, with not only a new free track, but also a nifty free mix too.

Their new track ‘Blind’ is a sublime piece of liquid bass funk that uses a Snoop Dogg sample and compared to their hefty hitters they’ve conjured up before, this one has the feel of a tune you can quite easily sink into with complete ease. That goes for their mix too which features their new tune along with Arteo’s latest track and a several other unreleased tracks that will no doubt see the light of day sometime very soon, fingers crossed! Top draw Bass Funk business from two dudes who are making very deserved names for themselves.

One of the top funkin’ labels on the planet, Bombstrikes, are responsible for delivering Dubra and Arteo’s new tune and you can expect even more from this combo as the guys have an EP due out on the label in the not to distant future. Keep your eyes peeled for what will undoubtedly be something very special.

Backbeat was a monthly event here in Perth, Western Australia a place for Breaks and the promotion of it to like minded people in the club scene. Thanks to one person DJ Gully (RIP) the Breaks scene excelled back in the mid 2000’s and one of the acts to brace it’s presence was the Beatslappaz. While at that time it was all about the Nuskool/Tearout Breaks the Beatslappaz continued to grow and eventually lead them onto the path of winning a Stanton Warriors remix competition and gaining acknowledgement among their peers leading them to their own EP release on the Punks Music label. This is a rare mix from them, i hope you enjoy !

Lanx and Nick Slater, aka the Drumattic Twins, have been a leading force in dance music since they first began touring over 20 years ago. Making their name as Shades of Rhythm, they ruled the early nineties rave scene with legendary anthems ‘Sweet Sensation’, ‘Sound of Eden’, ‘Extacy’ and ‘Homicide’ and performed with the likes of The Prodigy and N-Joi.

Since rebranding themselves as the Drumattic Twins in 1997, Nick and Lanx quickly replicated this global notoriety thanks to massive hit tracks ‘Feelin Kinda Strange’ ‘Twister’ and ‘HyperSpeed’. They teamed up with the legendary release platform Finger Lickin Records in 1999 and settled quickly into the close-knit world of the breakbeat scene, working alongside global acts such as Plump DJs, Soul of Man and Lee Coombs.

From a string of releases from 1999 starting with top the selling “Feeling Kinda Strange” till late 2013 with their “Get Up and Dance EP” on Sugarbeat Records and 2 full length albums in between the Drumattic Twins have laid down a variety of music that have influenced the Breaks Scene and shaped it in to what it is today.
