After a month off for some much needed R&R Andy Faze is back with the Elements Psybreaks Podcast. The mix starts off on a deep Electro kind of vibe but soon cracks on to the more familiar Psybreaks sound. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is back to once again introduce a brand new act to the ghetto funk scene. This time it’s Yum Cha from down under who is bringin’ his own unique blend of ghetto funk – with a twist. Bringing us some of those funky breaks and wobble basslines – mixed up with some sunshine reggae and feed-good vibes.

The title tune Roll Dem as well the following Boom Ting tune displays Yum Cha’s flair for mixing ghetto funk with reggae grooves, while Don’t Stop Rockin’ takes on a more classic ghetto funk approach. Finally it ends up with some funky oldskool sample chop-ups on the Down Town Scene jam.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is always on the lookout for new talents and as so many times before we release debut EP from some large upcoming artists in the ghetto funk. To mention a few this year we have introduced: Conte Crux, Morongroover and last but not least Phibes who is going to release their debut EP soon – right here on BBP.
