FREE TUNE FRIDAY!

Here’s another oldie from the archives deep within the Ferret Bass Laboratory.

This track has been through a lot of changes! It started out as it sounds here, and moved into an original track featuring ‘Imagine This’ on vocals, with an incredible chorus sung by none other than the almighty King Kapisi. We re-wrote the incredibly well known guitar riff as a warpy synth version to take away any copyright issues we would most likely come across.. However in the end we came to the mutual agreement that the original version still sounded too much like the initial Rage Against The Machine sample and decided to cancel the project.

So here it is for you! Stripped back to it’s roots (appropriately named) with all the original samples used.

Simon Shackleton is back on the ward with another one of his superbly crafted mixes. This one was for, Wizard Radio and sees an hours worth of dusty, twisted and groove heavy Techno, Deep and Tech House. These are Sunday sounds of highest order!

Simon has also recently released his first two track of this year on his Stereophoenix label. Both are available from his Bandcamp page for a small fee.

Bishoujo, is a compelling Techno infused track with beats that send the blood coursing through the veins and straight down to those dancing feet. This was a number one single on Juno on pre-release and it’s pretty clear to see why!
