RocknRolla Soundsystem are five funky dudes from The Netherlands whose minds work in complete unison when it comes to creating jaw dropping edits of old skool Soul and Funk cuts. Their most recent edit has them visiting ‘Funky Kingston’ by, Toots & The Maytalls and even though this is one of those relatively simple edits, there spin on it oh so effective! They’ve ushered in some extra beats, raised the tempo a touch and have given the original a thorough polish which is just perfect with summer right around the corner. Feel good music at it’s very best!

As mentioned above, these guys really know how to make and edit and there’s golden nuggets galore once you get digging!

Well isn’t this just the perfect EP to help you see out the rest of your evening. Here we have an inspired collab that sees Chill-Hop/Soul producer, Derlee, team up with lyricist, Des Brennan and lay down 6 tracks that are simply out of this world. It’s the kind of Hip Hop for the hazy days, the lazy days, the days when nothing should be done except listen to great music. The beats tick along at a leisurely pace and all tracks having a smooth, soulful touch. Des Brennan’s tone is bang on the money too and fully engages you, which only adds to the pleasure of the listening experience. Headphones on ladies and gents, it’s one of those kind of EP’s.

It’s celebration time for, M.O.B as he hits the happier side of 5,000 followers and like many of the generous producers we bring you, he’s here with free music. His aptly named ‘5000’ EP, serves up two tracks that have all the hallmarks of music by, M.O.B. He’s a producer who always seems to get the most out of a bassline and these two monsters will have everything around you quaking and shaking with the full force of the bass on show. Heavy, filthy, bassy treats, lets ‘ave it!

The original vocal by, Lady Leshurr still remains which ramps up the attitude and energy levels even more. An absolute must have for the peak-time sessions!

Lighting up the airwaves for us is Italian producer, BarBeat and his fully regrooved version of ‘Got To Get Me A Job’ by, Ann Alford. The original is a stone cold funky jam and that theme continues but now, BarBeat has lifted the tempo meaning you can really let those Funk inspired moves flowing freely when the beats start rolling. This is one a few class cuts to be found from him so if you want more, get digging…
